RUFUS Q - Vice-President

Producer/Director, Camera Op, Editor

A Pennsylvania native, Rufus Q first became interested in production work in high school when he joined his school's television studio. Learning the basics of shooting and editing, Rufus then went on to study at several institutions including PennState University, Temple University, and even the renowned International Film and Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine where he Produced and Directed his first film, the 16mm short, "Broken Love."

Since then he has worked in different facets of the industry. This has included a stint at WGCB-TV49 in Red Lion, PA in which he filled various positions during his time there including Master Control Operator, Studio Camera Op, Field Camera Op, Lighting Tech, and Editor. Rufus has also Co-Produced and Assistant Directed the short films "Missing" and "Abracadaver" with Rob Coccagna.

In addition to his production experience, Rufus also works in front of the camera and on the stage. Recently he has worked with PRF Productions, JPL Productions, and Ramsey Productions in Pennsylvania as well as The Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH.

Most notably, Rufus was directed by M. Night Shyamalan in a small featured role in Touchstone Pictures, "The Village."
