NICK MARTORELLI

Producer/Director, Screenwriter, Actor

Nick started performing in school plays and summer theatre camp, being bitten early by the "acting bug." He attended Villanova University to study acting and writing. It was at Villanova that he appeared in his first professional production and his full-time career began. Although he primarily considers himself an actor, he is also a writer and director, and he is working on building a career on both sides of the floodlights and cameras.

Nick has appeared with local and regional theatre companies, including two national tours. Favorite stage roles include Iago in "Othello," Milo Tindle in "Sleuth," and Joe Sutter in "The Spitfire Grill." He is also a member of the Philadelphia company of "Tony N Tina's Wedding." On camera, Nick has had leading roles in the feature film "God's Country" and the online television series "Paper Cuts." Nick is also a filmmaker in his own right, having written and directed the short films "First Date," "Mirrors," "Interlude," and the recent fan film "Changing Lane." In addition to writing and performing, Nick has written a collection of poetry and a series of short stories, and he is an avid fan of Superman, Sherlock Holmes, and Captain Kirk.
